Perfect for creating substantial scrolls, the MK2/2H can handle larger hot rolled mild metal strips, making it ideal for more ambitious projects. The hand-drawn design allows for precise control, with the end of the steel bar gripped in the center and pulled around the inner segment to form the initial scroll. For larger scrolls, simply drop in the outer segment to extend the size.

Ideal for Consistent, Repeatable Scrolls

To produce identical scrolls, place the metal in the slot of the center pillar, draw it around the center segment, and mark the base where the metal leaves the segment. This method ensures repeatable results, whether you’re creating small or large scrolls. The MK2/2H Former is an excellent investment for both beginners and seasoned metalworkers looking to expand their capabilities.

• On the MK2/2H, the metal is placed in the slot of the center pillar. The metal steel strip is then drawn around center segment to produce initial part of scroll.
• Depending on size of scroll required, metal strip is drawn around further with 2nd segment placed in position. For consistency when producing repeated scrolls, mark on base where metal leaves the segment.
• Finally release finished scroll (scroll comes out flat).

All tools are supplied with operating instructions. Please note that the maximum working capacity stated is for Hot Rolled mild steel or annealed metal. Working beyond these limits or with material of greater hardness may reduce the operational life of the tool.
